Consuming Kids: The Commercialization of Childhood

Posted by Ryan in

Consuming Kids throws desperately needed light on the practices of a relentless multi-billion dollar marketing machine that now sells kids and their parents everything from junk food and violent video games to bogus educational products and the family car. Drawing on the insights of health care professionals, children’s advocates, and industry insiders, the film focuses on the explosive growth of child marketing in the wake of deregulation, showing how youth marketers have used the latest advances in psychology, anthropology, and neuroscience to transform American children into one of the most powerful and profitable consumer demographics in the world. Consuming Kids pushes back against the wholesale commercialization of childhood, raising urgent questions about the ethics of children’s marketing and its impact on the health and well-being of kids.

Zombie training? OWS Atlanta turns into collective hypnosis 'one voice' weirdness

(NaturalNews) Occupy Wall Street protesters are undergoing collectivist zombie training in Atlanta, where a large group was caught on film engaging in a weird sort of "one voice" hypnotic chanting ritual that characterizes the key principles of both Communism and Socialism. Watch the video at:
http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=8B371...

Having an extensive background in studying linguistics and human psychology, I recognize mass hypnosis when I see it. The mind-numbing call-and-return vocalizations captured in this video reflect the same kind of mind control techniques used in cults, sporting events and even some church revival events. The whole point of this experience is to eliminate the individual mind and train everyone to think, and say, and do exactly what they are told to do by a "leaderless leader" who is really a mind control manipulator.

Bending the will of the masses

Watch this video. What you're seeing is classic mind control, shrouded in the context of a public protest. And yet these people are practicing the very same thing they claim to be protesting! What is that? The centralization of power in America.

That's the whole problem with Wall Street, and Congress, and the mega corporations -- they all concentrate power in the hands of the few while everyone else just follows along and does what they're told. This is a perfectly reflection of this hypnosis "zombie training" ritual at which one person holding the loudspeaker utters one verbal command after another as each one is repeated en masse by the crowd of clueless followers. That's much like the relationship between the Federal Reserve and U.S. bank account holders.

Free-thinking individuals do not engage in this kind of behavior! If I had witnessed this in person, I would have shouted out, "You are all zombies!" at which point I'm sure I would probably need my zombie defender flamethrower to roast the mindless masses as they tried to swarm over me with their "one mind" attack.

Watch this video and see for yourself. This is some really weird collectivist mind control stuff that should make you absolutely shudder:
http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=8B371...

Now, I don't have anything against a group of peaceful meditators who want to sit in a drum circle somewhere and pray for world peace. I've been part of plenty of that myself, and it's a valuable exercise in positive intention. But when it comes down to restructuring society, you've got to engage the individual creative minds of intelligent men and woman who can debate ideas from a position of individual sovereignty, not some sort of collective hive mind engaging in weird zombie chants.

A brief transcript of the Atlanta zombie protesters

Here's a taste of how the hypnotic trance ritual unfolded in Atlanta. Keep in mind the "leader" is on a loudspeaker so that his voice drowns out everyone else's, even though he claims that everyone should be equally heard...

Leader: We have someone here...

Zombies: We have someone here...

Leader: Who would like to address the assembly.

Zombies: Who would like to address the assembly.

Leader: That person...

Zombies: That person...

Leader: is Congressman...

Zombies: is Congressman...

Leader: John Lewis.

Zombies: John Lewis.

At this point, the crowd erupts into spontaneous applause for Rep. John Lewis. But the zombie leader feels this spontaneous action on the part of the crowd is some sort of violation of the groupthink, so he proceeds to instruct people that they should feel bad about applauding, because the sound of their applause might have been so loud that someone who was trying to speak could not be hard. (Bizarre zombie logic? Because this zombie leader is blaring his voice over a loudspeaker...)

Leader: How do we feel...

Zombies: How do we feel...

Leader: with hand signs please.

Zombies: with hand signs please.

Leader: Let me take a moment...

Zombies: Let me take a moment...

Leader: to explain why...

Zombies: to explain why...

Leader: we use hand signs.

Zombies: we use hand signs.

Leader: Clapping...

Zombies: Clapping...

Leader: can prevent someone else...

Zombies: can prevent someone else...

Leader: who is addressing the assembly...

Zombies: who is addressing the assembly...

Leader: from being heard.

Zombies: from being heard.

Leader: We want everyone's voice...

Zombies: We want everyone's voice...

Leader: to be heard.

Zombies: to be heard.

Leader: To signal approval...

Zombies: To signal approval...

Leader: wave your hands or your fingers...

Zombies: wave your hands or your fingers...

Leader: or do a thumbs up.

Zombies: or do a thumbs up.

Leader: That way...

Zombies: That way...

Leader: We can hear each other.

Zombies: We can hear each other.

At one point, a female audience member is allows to stand and explain her own weird "we are all the same" philosophy of why the group should allow Rep. John Lewis to speak:

Woman: Allowing Senator Lewis to speak... (she thinks he's a Senator, apparently)

Zombies: Allowing Senator Lewis to speak...

Woman: does not make him a better human being.

Zombies: does not make him a better human being.

Woman: it just says...

Zombies: it just says...

Woman: that we respect the work he's done...

Zombies: that we respect the work he's done...

Woman: and we respect the position he holds...

Zombies: and we respect the position he holds...

Woman: in the government we want to change.

Zombies: in the government we want to change.

Woman: People like John Lewis...

Zombies: People like John Lewis...

Woman: has just as much right...

Zombies: has just as much right...

Woman: to be part of the change...

Zombies: to be part of the change...

Woman: as to be part of the problem.

Zombies: as to be part of the problem.

After this woman finishes speaking, large numbers of other people in the zombie crowd raise their hands as if they want to speak. They are waving their arms and hands like a bunch of kindergarteners who are asking for permission to go to the bathroom.

Seriously, these are a bunch of adults acting with an elementary school mentality combined with a weird hypnotic role playing trance where they all believe they are contributing to a collective hive of some sort.

Ultimately, after what seems like endless rounds of ridiculous vocalizing about whether Rep. John Lewis should be "allowed" to speak or not, they diss the man and "decide" that he shouldn't speak at all!

So this man, who was already voted into office as a representative of the People, is not allowed to address the People? Even when the zombie leader on the loudspeaker says "everyone" should be heard?

I mean, hey, I probably disagree with Rep. John Lewis on just about everything he says, but I still support his right to speak in public as a representative of the people who elected him! Who are these brain-numbed zombie masses to prevent a member of Congress from saying a few words?

Why collectivism is so dangerous

Watching all this gives me the willies! This is a prime example of "the madness of crowds" and the dangerous collectivist mindset that deludes these people into thinking whatever they do is for "the common good." Total Marxism is alive and well in Atlanta, it seems, and it's led by a bunch of do-gooder trance-inducers who somehow manage to attract a group of willing followers who just can't wait to be told what to say and think. They're even commanded to use hand signs instead of applause.

These are the kind of people who destroy societies. Well, them and the criminal banksters who run Wall Street, too. On that point, the zombies are right that the banksters are crooks. But you don't solve these problems by replacing one delusion with another. The only path to true freedom is found in protecting individual liberty which necessarily involves protecting the individual right to speak your mind without seeking permission from some kind of weird collectivist groupthink.

The whole point of free individuals having both their First Amendment and Second Amendment rights is that each person is their own sovereign citizen who has the right, and the power, to exercise freedom, protect the innocent, seek justice and stand as a bastion of strength and individual liberty against a sea of conformist, brainwashed masses whether they be tyrannical governments or mind-numbed zombies.

The whole point of having a Second Amendment, of course, is so that we can protect ourselves from zombies and tyrants who attempt to overrun nations with disturbing regularity. The Second Amendment is what protects the First Amendment, because if the People didn't have the ability to shoot back, they would very quickly lose their right to speak out.

It's not the collapse that you should worry about; it's the rebuilding of society that comes after

All this reminds me to remind you that once the collapse of America is in full swing, NaturalNews will put out a call for patriots and lovers of liberty to take action and interject yourself into the discussions of how we rebuild society.

The danger -- the great danger in all this -- is that after the collapse of our current system, the collectivist zombies will take control and we will end up with something far, far worse than the crony capitalism we have today. If you thought George Bush and his secret prisons were bad, just imagine Nancy Pelosi leading a national zombie chant, declaring that anyone earning over $125,000 a year should have their wealth confiscated; that Free Speech is now subject to government approval; that everyone except the government should be completely disarmed; and that individual liberty must be sacrificed for the "common good of the People." These are all code words for outright government tyranny.

Remember: Just because our current system is headed for collapse doesn't mean we're automatically going to get something better in its place. If we want a truly free and just society, we will have to fight for it. We will need the Jeffersonians, the Ron Paul supporters, the liberty lovers and the freedom fighters to take decisive action in making sure our "Next Society" doesn't end up becoming some sort of weird collectivist cult led by people like Michael Moore.

Just because the People are pissed off doesn't mean they understand the principles of liberty and economic growth. Many protesters, remember, actually believe that governments create jobs! (Hilarious.) And that everybody can just be given free health care, free educations, free rent, and free everything under a nanny state system where the government controls everything they do.

While I agree that education should be provided by one generation for the benefit of the next (in other words, all education is free when you're young, but you pay it forward to the next generation), I also understand that the key to economic growth is reducing government burdens on small businesses -- especially in the realm of health care. We've got to get government out of the way and let America's great entrepreneurs create jobs and create wealth. That only happens when liberty is assured; when power is decentralized; and when regulatory burdens are minimized to cover only the really important things like preventing corporations from dumping toxic chemicals into the rivers and so on.

Most ideas about how to run society are BAD ideas

People have all sorts of weird ideas about how to run societies, but history has shown us that most of them are ill-conceived. Furthermore, tyranny always comes out of good intentions, so it's not enough to just "intend" to create a utopian society. It comes down to HOW you structure it.

What Jefferson and America's founding fathers understood is that all power tends to become concentrated over time in the hands of the few. Thus, the Declaration of Independence -- and later the Bill of Rights -- were all written to decentralize power by placing it in the hands of sovereign citizens from which government was granted its power to protect the rights of the People. The power of government stems solely from the power of the People who conditionally grant such power to the government. This is the polar opposite of what collectivists believe: They think that power begins with a central authority and then it is distributed to the obedient masses from there. That's why so many OWS protesters are still calling for big government to solve all their problems... they still believe government rules over them and therefore has the authority to fix everything!

Watch my increasingly popular video "Freetopia" to get a better understanding of all this:

Beware of collectivism

Only through the interaction of individual thought -- brought forth by free men and women -- can we truly achieve a brighter future. Those who try to sell you (or hypnotize you) to believe in socialism, communism, Marxism or other "groupthink" solutions are terribly misled and have failed to read (or understand) history. Liberty is the only path to lasting freedom and economic abundance.

Support Ron Paul! He's the only candidate who understands freedom and is willing to protect it:

Join the protests! Let your voice be heard as a pro-freedom, pro-Ron Paul liberty defender who believes in food freedom (raw milk), farm freedom (hemp farming), medical freedom (medicinal herbs), economic freedom (honest money) and individual freedom (Bill of Rights). Carry the signs, shoot videos and upload them to NaturalNews.TV if you wish.

This is how we achieve real, lasting change -- by starting with just showing up and making sure the protests aren't dominated by a bunch of collectivist zombies who utterly fail to understand what freedom really means.

Repeat after me: Freedom is...

You: Freedom is...

Me: ...when you don't do...

You: ...when you don't do...

Me: ...what somebody tells you to do...

You: ...what somebody tells you to do...

Me: ...just because they claim false authority over you.

You: ...just because they claim false authority over you.

There, doesn't that feel better? Think for yourself! And beware of zombies.

The Government Makes Up Your Mind About The Future

Posted by Ryan in , ,

Here is an article informing us of a project to identify the resistance that will be met against further identity management technologies such as implantable chips and mobile face or iris recognition technology. These studies will seek to find techniques around the resistance to such technology. If we truly lived in a free society, should the government be allowed to use our money to find ways to undermine our feelings about such invasive technologies? This will bring us closer to a Minority Report type world, and we should be able to say no to such a world.

This is only one example of the government studying techniques that help introduce idea or technologies into society for their benefit. We are in a propaganda soaked society from commercial, but especially government sources.

Managing identity

Researchers from Northumbria University are among a team of academics sharing in a £1.36million grant to examine future technologies of identity management.
Managing identities
Professor Pam Briggs, Dean of the School of Life Sciences at Northumbria, will be involved in the  three-year IMPRINTS project which will be led by Professor Liesbet van Zoonen of Loughborough University, alongside colleagues from Dundee and Essex.
The project is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). An additional grant has been awarded by the Department of Homeland Security in America to the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to simultaneously conduct the study in the US.
The Identity Management: Public Responses to Identity Technologies and Services (IMPRINTS) project aims to assess how and why the UK and US public will engage with particular future practices, services and technologies of identity management, while resisting others.
Iris and full-body scans and face or voice recognition have already become well-known practices, but innovations like implantable chips, odour scans, online ‘object’ passwords and mobile identity-sharing are on the horizon. It is unclear whether and why members of the public will embrace these innovations or reject them.
The Northumbria aspect of the project will involve sourcing futuristic scenarios from science fiction and academic literature and then developing stimuli to use with focus groups to trigger thinking around identity management.
Professor Briggs said: “I’ll be working with focus groups drawn from different populations, including young people, older adults and refugees, to talk to them about what ‘identity management’ means to them and we’ll be looking at inter-generational differences in what is acceptable and unacceptable in the ‘big brother’ world.
“The aim of the study is to develop a clear sense of the identity ‘taboos and desires’ and work with industry and government to use the ‘desire’ space for development.”
Professor Van Zoonen, Chair of Media and Communications at Loughborough, who is leading the project, added: “'There is a peculiar paradox between the eager sharing of personal details on social network sites, and the deep anxieties about, for instance, biometric identification or a national identity card.
“In this project we aim to gain a better understanding of such anxieties and appetites, and understand the way citizens will respond to new identity management technologies, services and practices in order to promote trustworthy and pleasurable processes of identity verification.”
To achieve this understanding, the researchers will work with stakeholders from civil society and government, security and commercial sectors in both the UK and US.
The project brings together experts in design, computer science, political science, media, psychology, sociology, and risk management, and findings will inform future government and security policy on identity management and its implementation, as well as provide resources for further research.

Mind Control Theories and Techniques used by Mass Medias | The Vigilant Citizen

Programming Through Mass Media

Mass media are media forms designed to reach the largest audience possible. They include television, movies, radio, newspapers, magazines, books, records, video games and the internet. Many studies have been conducted in the past century to measure the effects of mass media on the population in order to discover the best techniques to influence it. From those studies emerged the science of Communications, which is used in marketing, public relations and politics. Mass communication is a necessary tool to insure the functionality of a large democracy; it is also a necessary tool for a dictatorship. It all depends on its usage.
In the 1958 preface for A Brave New World, Aldous Huxley paints a rather grim portrait of society. He believes it is controlled by an “impersonal force”, a ruling elite, which manipulates the population using various methods.

“Impersonal forces over which we have almost no control seem to be pushing us all in the direction of the Brave New Worldian nightmare; and this impersonal pushing is being consciously accelerated by representatives of commercial and political organizations who have developed a number of new techniques for manipulating, in the interest of some minority, the thoughts and feelings of the masses.”
- Aldous Huxley, Preface to A Brave New World
His bleak outlook is not a simple hypothesis or a paranoid delusion. It is a documented fact, present in the world’s most important studies on mass media. Here are some of them:

Elite Thinkers

Walter Lippmann

Walter Lippmann, an American intellectual, writer and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner brought forth one of the first works concerning the usage of mass media in America. In Public Opinion (1922), Lippmann compared the masses to a “great beast” and a “bewildered herd” that needed to be guided by a governing class. He described the ruling elite as “a specialized class whose interests reach beyond the locality.” This class is composed of experts, specialists and bureaucrats. According to Lippmann, the experts, who often are referred to as “elites,” are to be a machinery of knowledge that circumvents the primary defect of democracy, the impossible ideal of the “omnicompetent citizen.” The trampling and roaring “bewildered herd” has its function: to be “the interested spectators of action,” i.e. not participants. Participation is the duty of “the responsible man”, which is not the regular citizen.
Mass media and propaganda are therefore tools that must be used by the elite to rule the public without physical coercion. One important concept presented by Lippmann is the “manufacture of consent”, which is, in short, the manipulation of public opinion to accept the elite’s agenda. It is Lippmann’s opinion that the general public is not qualified to reason and to decide on important issues. It is therefore important for the elite to decide ”for its own good” and then sell those decisions to the masses.
“That the manufacture of consent is capable of great refinements no one, I think, denies. The process by which public opinions arise is certainly no less intricate than it has appeared in these pages, and the opportunities for manipulation open to anyone who understands the process are plain enough. . . . as a result of psychological research, coupled with the modern means of communication, the practice of democracy has turned a corner. A revolution is taking place, infinitely more significant than any shifting of economic power. . . . Under the impact of propaganda, not necessarily in the sinister meaning of the word alone, the old constants of our thinking have become variables. It is no longer possible, for example, to believe in the original dogma of democracy; that the knowledge needed for the management of human affairs comes up spontaneously from the human heart. Where we act on that theory we expose ourselves to self-deception, and to forms of persuasion that we cannot verify. It has been demonstrated that we cannot rely upon intuition, conscience, or the accidents of casual opinion if we are to deal with the world beyond our reach.”
–Walter Lippmann, Public Opinion
It might be interesting to note that Lippmann is one of the founding fathers of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the most influential foreign policy think tank in the world. This fact should give you a small hint of the mind state of the elite concerning the usage of media.
“Political and economic power in the United States is concentrated in the hands of a “ruling elite” that controls most of U.S.-based multinational corporations, major communication media, the most influential foundations, major private universities and most public utilities. Founded in 1921, the Council of Foreign Relations is the key link between the large corporations and the federal government. It has been called a “school for statesmen” and “comes close to being an organ of what C. Wright Mills has called the Power Elite – a group of men, similar in interest and outlook shaping events from invulnerable positions behind the scenes. The creation of the United Nations was a Council project, as well as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.”
- Steve Jacobson, Mind Control in the United States
Some current members of the CFR include David Rockefeller, Dick Cheney, Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, mega-church pastor Rick Warren and the CEOs of major corporations such as CBS, Nike, Coca-Cola and Visa.

Carl Jung

Carl Jung is the founder of analytical psychology (also known an Jungian psychology), which emphasizes understanding the psyche by exploring dreams, art, mythology, religion, symbols and philosophy. The Swiss therapist is at the origin of many psychological concepts used today such as the Archetype, the Complex, the Persona, the Introvert/Extrovert and Synchronicity. He was highly influenced by the occult background of his family. Carl Gustav, his grandfather, was an avid Freemason (he was Grand Master) and Jung himself discovered that some of his ancestors were Rosicrucians. This might explain his great interest in Eastern and Western philosophy, alchemy, astrology and symbolism. One of  his most important (and misunderstood) concept was the Collective Unconscious.
“My thesis, then, is as follows: In addition to our immediate consciousness, which is of a thoroughly personal nature and which we believe to be the only empirical psyche (even if we tack on the personal unconscious as an appendix), there exists a second psychic system of a collective, universal, and impersonal nature which is identical in all individuals. This collective unconscious does not develop individually but is inherited. It consists of pre-existent forms, the archetypes, which can only become conscious secondarily and which give definite form to certain psychic contents.”
- Carl Jung, The Concept of the Collective Unconscious
The collective unconscious transpires through the existence of similar symbols and mythological figures in different civilizations. Archetypal symbols seem to be embedded in our collective subconscious, and, when exposed to them, we demonstrate natural attraction and fascination. Occult symbols can therefore exert a great impact on people, even if many individuals were never personally introduced to the symbol’s esoteric meaning. Mass media thinkers, such as Edward D. Bernays, found in this concept a great way to manipulate the public’s personal and collective unconscious.

1955 Time Magazine cover featuring Carl Jung. Looks a little like Avatar, doesn’t it?

Edward  Bernays

Edward Bernays is considered to be the “father of public relations” and used concepts discovered by his uncle Sigmund Freud to manipulate the public using the subconscious. He shared Walter Lippmann’s view of the general population by considering it irrational and subject to the “herd instinct”. In his opinion, the masses need to be manipulated by an invisible government to insure the survival of democracy.
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.
We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society.

Our invisible governors are, in many cases, unaware of the identity of their fellow members in the inner cabinet.”
- Edward Bernays, Propaganda
Bernay’s trailblazing marketing campaigns profoundly changed the functioning of American society. He basically created “consumerism” by creating a culture wherein Americans bought for pleasure instead of buying for survival. For this reason, he was considered by Life Magazine to be in the Top 100 most influential Americans of the 20th century.

Harold Lasswell

In 1939-1940, the University of Chicago was the host of a series of secret seminars on communications. These think tanks were funded by the Rockefeller foundation and involved the most prominent researchers in the fields of communications and sociological studies. One of these scholars was Harold Lasswell, a leading American political scientist and communications theorist, specializing in the analysis of propaganda. He was also of the opinion that a democracy, a government ruled by the people, could not sustain itself without a specialized elite shaping and molding public opinion through propaganda.
In his Encyclopaedia of the Social Sciences, Lasswell explained that when elites lack the requisite force to compel obedience, social managers must turn to “a whole new technique of control, largely through propaganda.” He added the conventional justification: we must recognize the “ignorance and stupidity [of] … the masses and not succumb to democratic dogmatisms about men being the best judges of their own interests.”
Lasswell extensively studied the field of content analysis in order to understand the effectiveness of different types of propaganda.  In his essay Contents of Communication, Lasswell explained that, in order to understand the meaning of a message (i.e. a movie, a speech, a book, etc.), one should take into account the frequency with which certain symbols appear in the message, the direction in which the symbols try to persuade the audience’s opinion, and the intensity of the symbols used.
Lasswell was famous for his media analysis model based on:
Who (says) What (to) Whom (in) What Channel (with) What Effect
By this model, Lasswell indicates that in order to properly analyze a media product, one must look at who produced the product (the people who ordered its creation),  who was it aimed at (the target audience) and what were the desired effects of this product (to inform, to convince, to sell, etc.) on the audience.
Using a Rihanna video as an example, the analysis would be as follows: WHO PRODUCED: Vivendi Universal; WHAT: pop artist Rihanna; TO WHOM: consumers between the ages of 9 and 25; WHAT CHANNEL: music video; and WHAT EFFECT: selling the artist, her song, her image and her message.
The analyzes of videos and movies on The Vigilant Citizen place a great importance on the “who is behind” the messages communicated to the public. The term “Illuminati” is often used to describe this small elite group covertly ruling the masses. Although the term sounds quite caricatured and conspiratorial, it aptly describes the elite’s affinities with secret societies and occult knowledge. However, I personally detest using the term “conspiracy theory” to describe what is happening in the mass media. If all the facts concerning the elitist nature of the industry are readily available to the public, can it still be considered a  “conspiracy theory”?
There used to be a variety of viewpoints, ideas and opinions in popular culture. The consolidation of media corporations has, however, produced a standardization of the cultural industry. Ever wondered why all recent music sounds the same and all recent movies look the same? The following is part of the answer:

Example Of Media Perception Management

Posted by Ryan in

Here are two articles that deal with the same subject from different points of view. Both obviously have the agenda of their own point of view. The problem with the articles is that one is merely reporting more with facts, and the other is using emotive language with selective information in order to exaggerate findings to suit their point of view under the guise of reporting a study's findings.

More varieties of sex please, we're British

Whatever the BBC say, Britain is still mainly white, Christian and straight

If you only read the first article you would be left with the impression that Britain is radically changing into something completely different. However, if you compare with the presentation of the second article you can see it is all a matter of selective information and language to push you to believe in an otherwise misleading conclusion.

Poison Is Added To You Water - Fluoride, Its Not What You Think

For along time now Americans have been convinced to add fluoride to our water to help our dental health. At least, this is what we were told. There is a much more to the story. Fluoride is not just a single chemical added to your water. There is more to it than the benevolence of those in charge, and the implications of the truth are scary for us who now have to begin to find out the lies.

Co-Opting Of Occupy Wall Street

Posted by Ryan in , , ,

The protestors that have taken to the streets in Wall Street and around the country have noble intentions, speaking to the problems of the rich and bankers oppressing the people. However most of them being leftest in their views, I was willing to put that aside to see if these messages could be spread to a wider audience.
My questions and concerns grew when the presence of more and more celebrities were seen on the streets to support the protestors. Through various means Hollywood and the music industry can reign in their celebrities if need be, so the more celebrities that show, the more caution that needs to be taken. The worst instance of which was the video which was shot of Michael Moore's words at the Occupy Wall Street protests this past week. He was asked of his feelings of the Federal Reserve, and responded that the problem does not lie with the Fed but with Capitalism itself. He then went on to call for the end of capitalism as he has in his most recent of documentary.
The real problem with the economy is the fact that our banking system and government has driven our economy into so much debt that for a very long time our system has only been able to exist by going deeper into debt. As debt increases the more money of ours that the government has to take in order to payoff the interest incurred and loans needed to keep feeding the banking system.
As the disturbing arrests of hundreds of protestors in New York were taking place yesterday the protests were spreading to other cities. The message is being spread and becoming more transparent. There is more media that are going out to these protests in order to ask the protestors why they are there. As they scream about how horrible the economy has become as of late, there was an unusual amount of protestors calling for the re-election of President Obama. The protestors are demanding the taxation of who they perceive as rich, and the passing of such plans support by Obama. The true problem with such ideas the missing facts of taxation of the rich. For example, the high taxation of someone making around $200,000 as Obama's plan calls for will only serve to damage the tax payer but never raise enough money to fix the debt crisis. The true hole in the taxation codes are the massive waivers given to giant corporations (article showing some of the history of these tax breaks). Even thou the debt problem is already reached dire proportions you can't begin to understand the problem until you can see this.

These messages are coming out as their seems to be more involvement from groups like Moveon.org talking about and promoting the protests. Moveon.og has a known history of being partially funded by the big Wall Street name of George Soros. When you see George Soros interests involved and also look at the reality of calling for the re-election of President Obama you see the interest of these Wall Street bankers being promoted there is major concern the these interests are co-opting the protestors. As the co-opting occurs the general message of identifying Wall Street as the enemies of the people is being replaced by a political message supporting politicians with a pro-banking policy followed by near socialistic demands upon the government.
I have been putting off the publication of this article to hear more about what the protestors are asking for. As the mainstream media is starting to follow these previously mentioned demands, the word on the street from alternative media sources is that the majority of the protestors on the streets do know the true problem is with the Federal Reserve creating the problems in the economy which has led to the government taxing the people for the banks benefit. However good that the true grassroots message is alive with the majority of the protestors, it will end up being the message of the ones that are supporting more communistic ideas of wealth redistribution that will get attention from the media.
It is up to these protestors that are amongst these socialist to continue to educate them in the hopes that the Occupy Wall Street movement will develop into the occupy the Federal Reserve protest. The only way to combat this issue is to go after the heart of the problem. Hopefully we will not be dragged down in another George Soros funded U.S. government directed color revolution. If we drop these socialistic demands and focus on attacking the heart of the problem, The Federal Reserve, this could develop into a movement with the proper direction to make real change.Otherwise we will find ourselves with a government granted more power to control our lives and feed money to the bankers. Thus completely undermining the initial intent of the protestors.

Here is a film that helps to show the problems with the American banking system:

Update 10/6/11: Now that the left is putting effort behind the co-opting the movement the media coverage has sky-rocketed! The Co-opters have submitted their list of demands with no mention of the problems with the Federal Reserve, completely ignoring the heart of the problem.

"It's sad but true! Everyone's a little bit racist"

From an early age we are molded by what is introduced to our environment. A baby will have no preconceived notions of anything in the world. The media we consume daily from an early age is bathed in stereotypes. We make these connections on a sub conscious level even if the lessons others teach us make us behave as if we have no stereotypes dictating our thoughts about people. The lesson here is to not under estimate the messages that media give us. Just because we are smart enough to reason things through and behave properly does not mean that the basic building blocks of our mind, our subconscious isn't effected by the constant stream of media which we consume.
There is no question in most of the public's conscious thoughts about the negative outlook on racism. The areas to be more concerned about is when there people's thoughts are in flux on a topic that once had a general consensus. Division, chaos, and confusion are the tools of those who have a plan and desire to control a population. You always have to question their intentions when the most powerful of media comes from big money and investments (media depends upon - bankers to extend credit and investment & government to not over regulate).

Everyone's a little bit racist - but it's not our fault: Blame TV and magazines instead, say scientists

Global Warming Alarmist Publish Fanciful Views of Greenland

Posted by Ryan in ,

The most recent blunder that the Global Warming faithful have to answer for is their attempt to redraw the map of Greenland. The Times Atlas of the World have published a map of Greenland showing major glacial melting, but Richard Betts, head of Climate Impact at the UK Met Office said that the map of Greenland is "rubbish". He happens to also be the man who wrote the sections of the atlas that dealt with global warming, and have no idea how such a thing was included in the publication.
This is so dangerous because in the UK this atlas will most likely end up in the hands of many school children. This is only advancing the brainwashing of our innocent children. This is added onto the government suggesting Al Gore's debunked documentary be shown to students.
Our children's are under attack. Please fight the brainwashing of our children. Read from past posts to see details of the falsehood of the global warming/climate change myth.
